Era by Eon (“Era”) is a platform that spins up full, high-fidelity synthetic companies to your specification, emulated SaaS systems, generated data and history, served over MCP and REST so that AI agents can be developed, tested and evaluated against a realistic stack instead of mocks. Every environment is provisioned as an isolated, single-tenant instance, on a read-only basis, and all data is 100% synthetic. Era means all of it: the platform that provisions and operates the environments, the emulated systems within them, the synthetic companies, data, records and histories generated, the MCP and REST interfaces, the tokens we issue, and the related models, prompts, schemas, configurations and documentation. Each isolated instance provisioned for you is an “environment”, and the Era by Eon design partner program (the “program”) is operated by Eon io Inc and its affiliates “we”, “us” and “our”
1. Acceptance, fees and Permitted use.
By enrolling, clicking “I accept”, or accessing an Era environment, you accept these terms. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms, and you may not enroll on behalf of a minor. If you enroll for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so and “you” means that organization. The program is free of charge and no payment is due from either party. We process the contact details you provide to administer the program, as set out in our privacy policy. Era may change, malfunction or be withdrawn at any time. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable right, for the duration of your participation, to access your environment on a read-only basis and use the synthetic data for your own internal development, testing and evaluation. You may use it to develop, train, test and evaluate your own models and agents, and you retain the rights in what you build. You choose what you would like to use, and your access covers what we agree to make available to you. We may limit or reduce that access, or revoke it entirely, at any time at our discretion. Anything we make available beyond what these terms describe forms part of the program and is subject to these terms.
2. Restrictions.
You will not:
- (a) write to an environment, upload anything to it, or connect your own data to it access is read-only;
- (b) sell, license, distribute, publish or otherwise provide an environment or the synthetic data to any third party;
- (c) use it for or on behalf of a third party, or for any purpose other than your own internal purposes;
- (d) reverse engineer Era, or attempt to derive its source code, models or methods;
- (e) use Era, the synthetic data or anything derived from them to develop, train or improve a product or service that competes with Era; or
- (e) attempt to access another tenant’s environment, or circumvent isolation, authentication or rate limits.
You are responsible for keeping your token secure and for all activity carried out with it. Access may be given only to your personnel who require it and who are bound by obligations no less protective than these terms. We may set or change usage limits and may throttle or pause an environment to keep the service available to everyone.
3. Ownership.
- (a) We and our licensors own Era and all intellectual property rights in it, including the platform, the emulated systems, the synthetic companies and data it generates, and any improvement, modification or derivative of them, whenever and by whomever created;
- (b) Specifying an environment gives you no ownership of it: it is generated to your specification, but the environment and everything Era generates within it remain ours;
- (c) Our ownership is unaffected by an environment or its data resembling real-world systems or records;
- (d) You receive only the rights granted in clause 1; all other rights are reserved, and nothing grants any license by implication or estoppel;
- (e) You own the products, code, models and materials you independently develop, and we claim no rights in them;
- (f) You will not act inconsistently with our ownership, including claiming rights in Era, registering any part of it or a confusingly similar name or mark, or altering any proprietary notice.
- (g) Where you give us feedback, suggestions or evaluation results, we may use them for any purpose without restriction, attribution or payment;
- (h) The program transfers no ownership to either of us.
We pay attention to how Era is used which features get exercised, what volumes look like, how it performs, where it breaks, and we may use that information to operate and improve Era and our other services. We use it in aggregated and anonymous form only: it does not identify you, your organization or your people, and nothing we share or publish from it will.
4. No warranty; no liability.
- (a) Everything is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or title, and any warranty as to accuracy, realism, availability or non-infringement.
- (b) We are not obliged to provide support, availability, backup or data retention; environments and their contents may be changed or deleted at any time, so retain your own copies of your own work.
- (c) Your use of an environment, and of anything derived from it, is at your sole risk and sole responsibility.
- (d) To the fullest extent permitted by law we have no liability in connection with the program, including for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, ours is capped at US$100. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Where an emulated system resembles a real product, that product’s trademarks belong to their owners and nothing here suggests any association with them. Era and our materials may name third-party products and link to their publicly available documentation. Those names and links are provided for identification and convenience only: the third-party materials are not ours, we do not control, endorse or verify them, we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, legality or availability, your use of them is subject to that third party's own terms, and nothing here implies any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from that third party. You are responsible for what your own agents and models do, including anything they do with what they read from an environment.
5. Confidentiality.
Non-public information about Era, features, roadmap, architecture, performance, pricing, is confidential and you will not disclose it without our prior written consent. You will not publish benchmarks, performance results or comparative evaluations relating to Era without our prior written consent. This does not restrict statements about your participation agreed under clause 6.
6. Publicity.
We may identify you as a participant and describe the collaboration, including by using your name and logo on our website and in presentations and marketing materials. If we request it, you will reasonably cooperate on a joint publication about the collaboration, a case study, blog post or announcement, with content subject to our approval and your reasonable review. You will not use our name, logo or the Era name publicly without our prior written consent.
7. Termination.
We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove you from the program, at any time, for any reason or none, at our sole discretion and with or without notice. We may also change, suspend or discontinue the program at any time. You may leave at any time by ceasing use and notifying us. On termination, your rights under clause 2 end immediately and you will cease using and delete the synthetic data and all materials obtained through the program. Clauses 3 to 8 and 10 survive termination.
8. Changes and general.
We may amend these terms; amendments take effect when posted or notified, and continued participation constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept an amendment, leave the program. You confirm you are not located in, and will not access Era from, a country subject to comprehensive sanctions, and that you will not use Era in breach of export control or sanctions laws. These terms are the entire agreement on this subject and supersede any prior discussion; your own terms do not apply. Nothing creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship, or any exclusivity. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a group company or in connection with a sale or reorganization. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect. Notices will be sent to the email address provided on enrollment. These terms are governed by the laws of New York, and the courts of New York have exclusive jurisdiction.
